Taylor Guitars

Taylor makes some of the finest acoustic guitars out there. Ben plays a Taylor 814ce Limited Edition made with Cocobolo wood. This is his favorite guitar out of his collection.

Fender

Fender is a staple in the music industry. There guitars, bass guitars, and amps have been used and are still being used by most musicians. Ben plays a Fender Telecaster. It has been modified by Jim Riddle, so that he can do his tricks on stage without breaking his guitar.

Gibson

If you've heard of Slash (Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver), Zack Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society), Kenny Chesney, along with many other stars, than you have most likely seen a Gibson Les Paul. This is the guitar of choice for many rock gods, along with modern country artists. Ben plays a Les Paul that has been modified by Jim Riddle.

Budda

Budda is no longer just a being worshipped by Buddists. It is now a guitar amp worshipped by guitarists. Budda amps are high end guitar amps that possess a tone that most guitarists search a lifetime for. One listen, and you will fall in love. Ben uses the Budda Superdrive 80 along with a budda 2x12 cabinet.

Framus

This German music company has made a huge impact on the mainstream music scene here in American. You will find Framus gear in the arsenal of many of today's hot artists, such as: Simple Plan, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Default, Dillusion, Santana, Marilyn Manson, Nickelback, Unearth, and Nickel Creek. Ben has found his weapon of choice in Framus' "Top-of-the-Line" Cobra amp. It is 100 watts of pure destruction!

The Tech Shop

Dub Hollowell at The Tech Shop is an excellent luthier. As we all know, Ben beats his guitars pretty badly. Thus, causing him to need a fret job frequently. His #1 Tele has just been refretted by Dub and Ben hasn't put it down for days. If you are in the Nashville area and need some guitar work done at a decent price, Dub is "The Man". Mesa Boogie

Boogies are the amps of choice for artists of all styles (Country to Death Metal). Most of the rock music you hear on the radio today (from Avril Lavigne to the Foo Fighters) is recorded using Mesa Boogie amps. If you take a listen to Pistoltown's new track, "Today"...it too is recorded using a Mesa Boogie. Ben's Boogie of choice is the Dual Rectifier. It just sounds HUGE!!!

ESP Guitars

ESP makes superb guitars and basses at insane prices. By "Insane", I mean insanely low prices. Ben uses ESP's EC1000 for the studio as well as live shows. He gets a tone that many guitars can't get. Check out the site to see what you've been missing!

This is the vocal training program Ben is currently enrolled in. It is a phenominal program, which you can clearly see by the list of clients Jan has. Here are a few of the artists that work with her: Rob Thomas, Usher, Edwin McCain, India Arie, Omarion, Sevendust, Collective Soul, and many more. If you are looking for a vocal coach, you need to look no more. You've found the BEST!

This is Ben's favorite singer/songwriter. Ben even named his dog McCain:-)

July For Kings

These guys are incredible. Although unsigned, this band is definitely "radio-worthy". Give them a listen because Ben says so!!!

Sister Hazel

Another one of Ben's favorite bands. Sister Hazel is based out of Gainesville, Florida. These guys have it all, incredible vocal harmonies, great songwriting, and over huge sound.

Butch Walker

Fellow Atlanta musician who by far is one of Chester's favorite artist.

Clay Cook

Another one of Atlanta's singer/songwriters who are incredibly talented. He co-wrote several tracks on John Mayer's Room For Square's. He has also toured with several big name acts, including: Marshal Tucker Band, Y-O-U, and Sugarland. Clay has produced a couple tracks on Pistoltown's upcoming album.

Nickel Creek

If you ever need a quick "pick-me-up", this band is your answer. Chris, Sara, and Sean have brought bluegrass into the future. Their live shows are explosive. A definite "must-see". Don't be surprised if you hear them play a Nirvana song or two at their show. This is Ben's favorite band to listen to when his mood isn't quite where he wants it to be:-) Go check them out...NOW!!!

Lauren Jordan

Lauren is a fellow musician from Atlanta, who has just released her debut cd. Her airy vocals are very reminiscent of early Jewel cds. Check out her site for music, pics, etc.

Drivn

Friends of Pistoltown, Drivn is a band from Virginia. They've just finished their upcoming album and are some bad m@therf#*%ers. You definitely want to catch one of their shows when they play near you!

Seven Zero Sixx

This is a female fronted rock band from LaGrange, Georgia. Pistoltown happened to be playing at a club next door to where SZS was playing. They are a great bunch of people, not to mention...they gave Ben and Zach a free t-shirt;-) Make sure you check them out at a club near you!!! Why??? Because Ben says so!!!;-)

Tall Paul

Tall Paul is an excellent musician that plays some of the same places we do. Ben and Tall Paul talked gear talk and for a little while and then realized that they are both from Nashville:-) He is an excellent musician playing everything from Van Morrison to John Mayer to some of his originals. Never a dull moment at his shows. Check him out ASAP!!!

Poor Otis

Poor Otis is a cover band from the Atlanta area. The current line-up has remained constant for 10 years!!! If you are ever in the area, make sure you check these guys out. Roy (singer) is a really nice guy. Go out and show some support for your local music!!!

Big Boyz Custom Cycles

Anyone who knows Ben, knows that he is a motorcycle fanatic. You can often find him riding his cycle around the winding country roads outside of Nashville. Someday he plans on ditching his sportbike for a custom shop chopper from Big Boyz. I guess Ben likes everything LOUD...guitars, motorycles, muscle cars, etc.

Crunch Gyms

You can always find Pistoltown working out at the local Crunch Gym before they hit the stage...the one in Atlanta to be particular. It is an AWESOME fitness center. When you walk in the front door you will instantly see that it is a very modern gym. You aren't going to find equipment in there that is out-of-date. It has something for everyone...aerobics, dance, cardio theater, free weights, machines, boxing, etc. Make sure you check out a Crunch Gym near you!
